I know – it’s Tuesday not Friday!

But we’ve got some very exciting news to share and Friday just couldn’t wait.

Sharon and I are delighted to announce that The Curious Piano Teachers are going ‘live’ in the UK and Ireland in February. What’s even more thrilling is that this is going to be a truly international tour. Joining us from America and Australia are:

The dates for your diaries are Tuesday February 20 in Belfast and Saturday February 24 in Oxford. We’re still in the planning stages of finalising the conference venues, the programme for the day and lots of little details – like what it’s called!

We know that this will be a conference like no other! We’ll be setting up a Facebook group to run before and after the conference days, there’ll be webinars to get you all thinking about the topics and you’ll get one of our thought-provoking workbooks to help you go that little bit deeper.

You’ll go away with not only new teaching ideas but the support of your peers (including all of the presenters) to help you put them into practice.

This will be an ‘aspirational’ conference, one that will give you a sense of the reality of a bigger and brighter future for piano teaching.

This will be a conference for piano teachers:

  • who are seeking acknowledgment as real professionals
  • who aim to impart their own deep love and joy for music to their pupils
  • who are seeking to teach with imagination, artistic sensitivity and technical certainty at all levels
  • who already teach a balanced and structured curriculum with honesty and integrity
  • who take care and pride in their work
  • who are ready to invest in their own ongoing professional development in order to keep it up to date and relevant

We are busy finalising the details of the day which we will be sharing with you very soon. Early bird tickets go on sale on Friday 15 December. To make sure you don’t miss anything CLICK HERE to sign up to our mailing list

This is a really great idea Sally & Sharon and a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow CPTs. Unfortunately, it is our half-term week and I’m away, typical! My question is, will the resources (webinars, workbook) be made available for non-attendees? Thanks
